The Management is an elected body comprising of nine Directors and a Secretary. The Management wholeheartedly works for the upliftment of the college and The Palakkad Co-operative English Medium School . The Institution follows the recruitment policy in the appointment of teachers as per service rules by the Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies and ensures the professional growth of our college. The Management always takes keen interest in the academics and in promoting co-curricular and extra-curricular activities amongst the students. The Co-operative family consists of 42 faculty members, 11 office staff and above 2000 students from all levels of the society.
The School has 700 students studying in classes from LKG to VI th standards and 22 teaching and 4 non-teaching staffs. We are proud that our sister concern is growing up rapidly.
The Palakkad Arts & Science College has been approved as the University Sub-Centre from 2010 and Counselling Centre from 2012 onwards.
Scholarships from various organizations are always an encouragement to the deserving brilliant students. We express our heartfelt gratitude to Sramput Trust, Pudussery Trust and AIWC, Palakkad Chapter for their magnanimity.
Sramput Trust has been giving scholarship to seventeen UG students in this institution every year.

The college has a good library with thousands of reference books for both PG and UG students with a librarian assisting them in doing reference work in two shifts.
The PTA came into existence in 1986. Since then the association is very active. Fifteen Executive committee members strive for the well being of this institution. We are grateful to all the members of the PTA for their whole-hearted co-operation and assistance rendered throughout.
The College is proud to breed athletes and players who represent the district in various sport and games like football, cricket and Kabbadi. The Annual Sports Meet held at Muttikulangara Police Camp Ground was inaugurated by the International Athlete Sri. Hardas in the year 2012. Every year Annual Sports Meet is conducted to spot out the real Champions in Athletics.
Compulsory Social Service: As part of the curriculum Compulsory Social Service for 42 days has been introduced by the University of Calicut for the degree students. The students are often engaged in various projects, Literary Programs, Seminars, Blood Donation, Cleaning roads and lanes and so on. The C.S.S Co-ordinator along with the class teachers concerned take the students to the respective venues to perform the task assigned to them. They have actively participated in programs both inside and outside the campus.
The students of The Palakkad Co-Operative Arts & Science College are always in the forefront to serve the mankind. Every third month; forty students donate blood to the Blood Bank functioning in The Palakkad District Hospital. It is a gesture of service mindedness and love of humanity. The Health Department has conferred an Award to the college for being the institution donating blood the maximum times. Red Cross Award 2013 was conferred to the college by the Indian Red Cross Society in Honour of the Selfless Service to Humanity.
The Palakkad Co-Operative Arts & Science College Alumni Association has thousands of students as members. The Association is very active conducting Medical Camps, Seminars, Counselling for students etc. The Association honored seven senior staff members for their commendable service of twenty five years during the Silver Jubilee Celebrations.
The College Store providing books and other paraphernalia has been set up to cater to the needs of the students. The Canteen is a boon, both to students and teachers coming from long distances.
Commerce is one of the biggest department with competent staff members always at the service of the students in their quest for knowledge.

To equip our students with the knowledge in advanced information technology, the department of computer science functions as an effective guiding factor. Real masters in the subject guide and coach the students in the respective topics.
English department plays a prominent role in the academic progress of the students. A set of competent teachers render their maximum effort to teach this foreign language.
'Sreshtabhasha Malayalam' is another second language opted by most of the students of plus two and degree classes. The teachers are exemplary in imparting the subject.
'Rashtrabhasha Hindi' is one of the second language taught in plus two and degree classes. The staff help the students to handle the language masterfully.
